Unpacking Sustainability Impact: Morton Salt
About Morton Salt
Morton Salt is an American company with a rich history dating back to 1848. The company has established itself as a leader in salt products, combining quality with a growing commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Our Partnership
In keeping with their tradition of innovation, Morton Salt partnered with us to craft custom refillable glass salt and pepper bottles. This collaboration aimed to meet the growing consumer demand for sustainable solutions while maintaining a premium look and feel.
Working closely with Studio One Eleven, we developed a custom bottle featuring a sleek, waisted silhouette. This distinctive design sets the packaging apart from competitors while preserving Morton Salt's visual brand identity. Our goal was to create a product that not only performs exceptionally but also serves as an attractive addition to kitchen counters and dining tables.
Our Impact
The new Morton Salt grinders represent a significant step forward in both functionality and sustainability. Available in Sea Salt, Pink Himalayan Salt, and Black Peppercorn varieties, these grinders cater to a wide range of culinary preferences. The refillable design aligns with eco-conscious consumer values, effectively reducing waste.
We prioritized user experience in the design process. The ergonomic shape ensures comfortable handling, while adjustable grind settings offer versatility for various cooking and seasoning needs. To maximize shelf impact, we incorporated a full shrink-wrap label with a perforation for easy removal, allowing users to showcase the elegant glass bottle beneath.
By introducing these refillable grinders, Morton Salt has successfully balanced sustainability with product quality. This innovation not only elevates the user experience but also aligns with the company's vision of enhancing everyday moments. Through this project, Morton Salt demonstrates its commitment to meeting evolving consumer demands for premium, eco-friendly products in the modern kitchen.
