Several defects can occur during the manufacturing process of glass containers. Here are some common examples of glass shoulder defects, such as shoulder check and brush marks.
Shoulder Check defect is a crack that does not pass through the entire thickness of the glass (usually in a straight line).
Breakage of the article during or after filling and packaging.
Brush Marks defect consists of numerous fine vertical marks, often on the shoulder.
