What is 16 CFR 1700.20?

16 CFR 1700.20 is the section of the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA) that explains the necessary testing procedures for child-resistant or specialty packaging. This section is meant as a business education guide for importers and manufacturers of child-resistant packaging. All CPSC required testing procedures for child-resistant packaging are included in this business guide. This includes general testing requirements for children, senior adult, and younger adult panels.
