While we continue to respond to the COVID-19 situation, at Berlin Packaging, the health and safety of our employees and community remains our top priority. Our hearts go out to all who have been impacted by this crisis.
We recognize that it is critical that you continue to receive the packaging products and services that we provide, and we maintain our steadfast commitment to your business. Berlin Packaging’s warehouses and facilities remain open, and we are working closely with our network of 1,000+ global supply partners to ensure minimal impact on your supply chain.We currently have tens of thousands of items available throughout North America. Both inbound deliveries from our suppliers and outbound shipments of product to our customers remain uninterrupted.
Berlin Packaging’s leadership team is meeting continuously to assess and appropriately respond to the crisis as it evolves. We are operating in accordance with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other public health authorities.
We have put in place many virus-mitigating actions that result in a reduction of potential transmission including instructing all employees who are able to do so to work from home; restricting non-essential travel; and implementing the hygiene protocols and social distancing from the CDC for on-site employees, such as staggering shifts for team members in our warehouse, building in workforce redundancies, and cross-training employees.
Every member of the Berlin Packaging team takes our responsibility to our customers very seriously, and we will continue to work diligently to maintain the level of service you have come to expect from us. We ask for your patience as we experience increased in-bound calls to our customer care team that may result in longer hold times. Shipping times may also be increased as carriers deal with this unprecedented situation.
