Unpacking Sustainability Impact: Argotier

Argotier Bottle with wine glass filled with red cocktail and fruit

About Argotier

Argotier, a French brand of organic, local, and ready-to-drink cocktails, embodies sustainability at every level. Their commitment to eco-friendly practices is evident throughout their production process, from sourcing organic and local raw materials like fresh fruit juices, liqueurs, and spirits, to avoiding artificial additives such as food colorings and preservatives.

Our Partnership

Argotier sought packaging that aligned with their sustainability values. They chose to use Helium Mixology, our Climate Partner-certified glass bottle. Helium Mixology combines sophistication with sustainability, featuring lightweight, half-flint glass made with up to 75% recycled content.

We collaborated with ClimatePartner to measure and certify the bottle’s carbon footprint. The ClimatePartner certification verifies Helium Mixology’s reduced carbon impact. We also offset remaining emissions through ClimatePartner’s certified carbon offset programs. For instance, we supported a combined product that helps mitigate carbon emissions and supports international ocean protection through Plastic Bank, an organization empowering recycling efforts in coastal areas.

ClimatePartner is a leading German company in carbon accounting services since 2006. It includes the support throughout a holistic climate action strategy, including the calculation of Corporate and Products Carbon Footprint, identifying high level reduction potential and offsetting unabated emissions through the support of high quality, certified carbon compensation projects.

Our Impact

Argotier appreciated the unique light green color of the Helium Mixology bottle, a distinctive feature resulting from its high recycled glass content. Helium Mixology’s design underscores our commitment to responsible sourcing and manufacturing practices. Its simple round shape offers extensive customization options through embossing and decoration, while remaining compatible with a variety of closures from the traditional Bartop to the recyclable Vinolok.

To further enhance the bottle’s sustainability, Argotier complemented it with a durable closure and a plant-based label. The label comprises 95% sugarcane fibers and 5% hemp and flax fibers. The printing paper used is white, matte, uncoated, moisture-proof, and includes anti-cryptogamic properties (anti-mold treatment). Additionally, the label adhesive is water-soluble.
