When it comes to certain food and beverage items, chemicals, and cleaning products, customer safety is primary. It is of the utmost importance to both you and your customer to make sure these products haven't been tampered with. Tamper-evident caps are the best way to have that assurance. If the seal or ratchet on a tamper-evident cap is broken, it indicates tampering. Tamper-evident lids also help to keep out contaminants that may end up in otherwise poorly sealed products during transport, storage, and display. Food grade and FDA approved options are also available.

Plastic Tamper-Evident Caps

Berlin offers PP (Polypropylene), HDPE (high-density polyethylene), LDPE (low-density polyethylene), and phenolic caps that are all good choices for corrosive chemicals, and food or beverage items. When considering caps for juice or other beverage caps, plastic tamper-evident screw top caps come in a wide range of colors to suit branding needs, and can also have logos or brand names added on top. There is also a wide range of sizes, and a variety of liners and textures. For example, smooth lids can add sophistication, while ribbed lids add grip.

Tamper-Evident Screw Top Caps

Screw top caps work well for products that require constant opening and closing, like milk caps. Tin tamper-evident caps work well as liquor and spirit bottle caps and are made for bottles with a roll-on pilfer evident (also known as ROPE or ROPP) finish. Tin caps are lightweight and durable, and have a sophisticated appeal while allowing for regular opening and closing.
