ISO certification, which is governed by the International Organization for Standardization, is the internationally-recognized standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes used by the company to deliver products and services and to the activities performed to ensure the needs and expectations of customers are met. ISO certification also demands that the company is always working to continuously improve its outcomes. ISO 9001 requires both internal audits and independent audits of an organization’s Quality Management System.
