These packages are designed to ship primaries inside tightly closed metal containers

IMPORTANT

When shipping non-bulk Zone A TIH materials, they must be packaged in accordance with DOT 49 CFR 173.226. This states that the Inner Packaging system must consist of an impact-resistant receptacle with absorbent material, packed within a leak-tight packaging of metal or plastic. The Inner Packaging must also meet the test requirements of Subpart M of part 178 without the aid of the outer packaging.

This variety of TIH (Toxic by Inhalation) Shipping Package includes one Safety Coated Narrow Mouth Amber Glass Bottle, Melamine Green Plain Round cap with F217/PTFE Liner, Polypropylene Absorbent Pouch, Tall Metal Paint can with Overcap Pressure Ring, Corrugated Insert, and Bag for the Entire Contents.

This variety of shipping package includes a 6½-Gallon Black Steel Pail, Bolt Locking Ring, Charcoal Foam for the inside of the Pail, Polypropylene Absorbent Pouch, and an outer corrugated Carton. The entire package was tested as a combination package for the use of inner containers.

This package is also offered without a corrugated overpack. If interested please reference part # HMS-68130.
